CONGRATULATIONS BOTH VARSITY TEAMS!!!!!!

REGION 5 AAAA CHAMPIONS

                                              ******2012 Season Highlights******
 

Varsity Boys: overall record: 16-5, region record: 10-0:" Region Champs"

Our run for a repeat state title ended today with our 2-3 loss to Lambert.  It was a hard fought battle, with our sole wins coming at line 1 singles - Austin Bates and line 3 singles - Dom Allan.  They were a formidable opponent with all seniors except their #1 and #2 singles, being juniors.  Greyhounds, you can still be proud of your repeat region title and making it to the round of 16 in the state play offs.  Our only losses during the regular season were to AAAAA schools (Alpharetta, Etowah, Lassiter and Walton (who are undefeated and will probably win their AAAAA state title)

Varsity Girls - REGION CHAMPS!!: overall record: 15-6, region record: 10-0:  It was a hot, sunny day filled with team spirit, but the Ladies ended their journey to the state championship with a tough loss to Lambert, 0-3. Thanks to Coach Kemper, the Lady Greyhounds and their parents for a great season full of exciting tennis played by amazing young ladies. Way to go, Lady Greyhounds! JV GIRLS:   The JV girls have struggled the last couple weeks against some very tough opponents.  They fell to Roswell, Walton, and Alpharetta.
